It’s not the warmest or most forgiving time of year—but when a northwest wind hits West Wittering in March, it can be a hidden gem: quieter beaches, powerful gusts, and proper wave-sailing potential for those willing to brave the cold!

Wednesday 25th March 2026 – late afternoon even with the cool air and water temps slightly cooler than the day before we saw a group of windsurfers take to the water for a high energy session!
